Amy | EXECUTIVE STYLIST
Amy has been a stylist in Edmonton since 1997. She has the great fortune of spending her days doing what she loves most, with the greatest group of people she knows. She is also a passionate educator, and has worked for many brands internationally.

Kiran | EXECUTIVE STYLIST
Kiran has been a professional hair stylist since 2002 and she thrives on building relationships with her guests from the ground up! Throughout her career, she has had opportunities to work with long standing clients & award winning industry leaders; she’s always developing her craft. Kiran has a strong understanding of products and methods which lends to her diversified skill set. She loves her PoHo family and is keen on gaining insight from this unique team. Inspired by those around her, Kiran passes this expertise on to every client she has the pleasure of working with.

Jane | MAKE UP ARTIST / SALON COORDINATOR
Jane has been at Ponytails + Horseshoes since day one. She is the salon co-ordinator and make-up artist. She loves lipstick, working on photo shoots and making people feel amazing.
Nicki | FULL STYLIST
Nicki’s passion for hair started early in life, and has quickly become a full-blown obsession. She started with ponytails + horseshoes in July 2016, and has since made PoHo her home. She found her love for Avant Garde hair while competing in Las Vegas for TLC’s Global Beauty Masters, as a Student representing Canada in the international competition. Whether it’s behind the chair or behind the scenes, this young stylist is not afraid to think outside the box when designing a look to reflect and represent her clients.

Alexis | JUNIOR STYLIST
Alexis found a love for hair from an early age and really started fostering that interest in 2018 by doing her friends’ hair for their various competitions. She sees hair as art - it’s just on a different (and always changing) canvas. Alexis is always finding new ways to further her education and is beyond grateful and enthusiastic to be a part of the PoHo family.

Sheneen | SENIOR STYLIST
Sheneen is a senior colourist at Ponytails+Horseshoes, where she has been a valued team member since 2014. With a passion for creating stunning blonde hues, she brings her artistic vision to each client. Outside of her styling work, Sheneen is an avid gamer, balancing her creative pursuits with her love for gaming.
Edmund | SENIOR STYLIST
Edmund is an Indigenous editorial hairstylist originally from Fort Chipewyan AB and a member of the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation. Being in the industry since 2012, he is very inspired by fashion, runway and today’s pop culture. He loves being able to work with people everyday and is a firm believer in education and evolving as a stylist. He also loves travel, family and to laugh.

Jenn | FULL STYLIST
Jenn has been in the industry since 2018 and part of the PoHo family since 2021! They are extremely passionate about providing affirming services catered to each person's unique style. Jenn stays inspired with ongoing education, joining the Colorproof team as an Education Leader in January 2023. Some of their specialities include razor cutting, fades, and bright fashion colours!

Charlotte | JUNIOR STYLIST
Charlotte found her passion for hair in high school cosmetology class, and has known since then that behind the chair is where she belongs. She loves creating irresistible blondes and creative vivids. She is beyond excited to be part of the team at PoHo!

Emily | FULL STYLIST
Emily is a Métis artist with a passion for hair and beauty. She loves helping her clients connect with their best hair, from healthy natural texture and high-precision cuts to colour transformations. Outside of the salon, she can be found learning new skills, trying new foods, and customizing sneakers with traditional beadwork designs.

Andrea | FRONT END COORDINATOR
Andrea joined the team at PoHo in 2023. Originally from Nova Scotia, she has been in the beauty industry since 2007. Known for her warm demeanour, Andrea has built a reputation for creating positive first impressions and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. She thrives on helping others and prides herself on making every visitor feel welcomed and valued. Passionate about delivering a high level of service, Andrea consistently goes above and beyond to meet the needs of both clients and colleagues.
Katharine | SENIOR STYLIST
Katharine has been in the industry since 2005. She lived in Montreal and was extremely inspired by the culture there. She has had the privilege of being trained by Aveda and Saco. Katharine is excited to be a part of PoHo.

Elizabeth | EXECUTIVE STYLIST
Elizabeth has an innate ability to connect with clients, helping her to intuitively form any stylistic vision. She entered into the industry in 2002, and is a proud original cast member of ponytails + horseshoes. Elizabeth is a prominent figure as a stylist in Edmonton, but also a known arts supporter and advocate. She has a vested interest in furthering her own education as a stylist as well as helping to plan and organize similar events at P+H.

Morgan | SENIOR STYLIST
Morgan is one of the original PoHo cast members. Morgan loves being creative on a daily basis and is constantly inspired by the world around him.
Brenna | FULL STYLIST
Brenna is a creative artist who loves to play with colour. She's been in the industry for 6 years and is so at home with the PoHo family! When she's not behind the chair, you can find her playing the drums, painting and thrifting.
