P+H Style Guide: The Wolf Cut Bixie

We are so here for this 4-way union of decade-spanning styles! The Wolf Cut Bixie, incorporates elements of a shag cut, mullet, pixie and bob.

THE WOLF CUT combines elements of the classic mullet and the shag cut, layered and tousled to perfection. It’s giving all our favourite styles from the 60s through to the 80s!

If we go back in time further to the Prohibition Era, short cuts were all the rage, and the Pixie Cut was popularized again in the 50s and 60s with stars like Audrey Hepburn and Mia Farrow. Short hair had a comeback in the 90s with the iconic Princess Diana cut (characterized by a more feathered and full short style).

The second element of the Bixie comes from the classic bob, and let’s face it, bobs have always been in style!
